“They started test shooting on Wednesday,” a source close to Floyd and her baby daddy Cory Wharton told RadarOnline.com.
Fortunately for Portwood, Lowell and Bookout, MTV could still opt out of moving forward with Floyd if she “doesn’t fill the big hole” left by Abraham. “They haven’t been paid yet,” the insider said. “They have not signed a contract at this time.”
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report that Floyd is replacing Abraham on TMOG. RadarOnline.com confirmed she is being considered for the hit show. The decision caused outrage among the cast.
“Amber is pissed off about the new cast member,” a source close to Portwood told RadarOnline.com. “They’ve been doing Teen Mom for ten years and don’t think they like the idea of someone who is a total newbie and has never even been on the show before coming on permanently.”
A second source told RadarOnline.com of Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra, “They all just think it’s stupid that they’re bringing people from outside the franchise instead of bringing the OG’s and the TM2 cast together. Maci loves Chelsea, Kail and Amber get along, it just makes more sense.”
Abraham, who was fired from the show because of her appearance on an XXX webcam site and her cruel treatment of producers told RadarOnline.com, “No reaction,” she told RadarOnline.com. “I don’t watch the show anymore as I’ve moved on. The show was done when I left.”
Floyd, 25, and The Challenge star Wharton share 1-year-old daughter Ryder together. “Their co-parenting relationship is nowhere near as happy as they try to make it out to be on social media,” a source told The Ashley. “They will fit in perfectly on Teen Mom.”
