“Amber is pissed off about the new cast member,” a source close to Portwood told RadarOnline.com. “They’ve been doing Teen Mom for ten years and don’t think they like the idea of someone who is a total newbie and has never even been on the show before coming on permanently.”
Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra feel the same way, as a second source told RadarOnline.com, “They all just think it’s stupid that they’re bringing people from outside the franchise instead of bringing the OG’s and the TM2 cast together. Maci loves Chelsea, Kail and Amber get along, it just makes more sense.”
The insider added how Baltierra is “fed up with all the drama the show has brought them.” “He just doesn’t think the show is going to last very much longer unless the new cast member brings in amazing ratings, but they aren’t really holding their breath,” the source said. “Catelynn in particular feels like the show has absolutely nothing to do with the kids anymore so they’re just waiting for MTV to pull the plug.”
How does Abraham, who was fired from the show because of her appearance on an XXX webcam site and her treatment of producers, feel about the replacement? “No reaction,” she told RadarOnline.com. “I don’t watch the show anymore as I’ve moved on. The show was done when I left.”
But one cast member who is excited about the new addition is Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin. “Cory is my guy so I’m glad he’s on board,” he said. “Good decision for his family.”
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report the shocking news. Floyd, 25, and The Challenge star Cory Wharton share 1-year-old daughter Ryder together. “Their co-parenting relationship is nowhere near as happy as they try to make it out to be on social media,” a source told The Ashley. “They will fit in perfectly on Teen Mom.”
