As Radar reported, Jen Shah was arrested last week following charges related to wire fraud and money laundering charges for her alleged involvement in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. Her assistant, Stuart Smith, was also taken into custody and charged.
They both pled not guilty days later.
Andy Cohen didn't hold back when he returned to his SiriusXM radio show on April 5. It was his first time in front of a microphone since the scandal and he used his time well.
When someone called in and asked for a reaction on Jen Shah's arrest, Andy Cohen let out a huge sigh and replied, "oy vey."
But he appeared to have the RHOSLC star's back.
"I'm waiting to see how it plays out," Andy said while adding that he's not jumping to any conclusions. "I have nothing to add to what we already know, other than I certainly hope and pray that none of it is true."
Jen Shah was released on a $1 million bond but that came with stipulations. She's also not allowed to leave Utah without permission but that's not the worst of it.
Radar has learned that Jen Shah, who gave stellar intoxicated performances during season one of RHOSLC, has been ordered not to consume drugs or drink excessive amounts of alcohol during filming.
Besides travel and controlling her alcohol intake, the RHOSLC newbie also can't open any new lines of credit or “dissipate cash or assets from any personal or corporate account she controls in excess of $5,000 or more (per transaction).”
Over the weekend, Jen Shah broke her silence and addressed her fans for the first time. Thanking them for their support, the star advocated her innocence.
"Thank you for being loyal, believing in me and not believing the hype. This journey has showed me who my true friends are. All my love. #ShahSquad," she wrote.
