Kate Gosselin Making 'No Attempt' To Win Back Custody Of Estranged Kids Collin & Hannah
Aug. 29 2019, Updated 12:14 p.m. ET
Kate Gosselin is not fighting to win back custody of her two estranged children, Collin and Hannah, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
According to a Pennsylvania court insider, Kate has remained "relatively quiet" since her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, won temporary custody of the couple's troubled son back in December. The 44-year-old mom of eight has not made any legal filings regarding her two 15-year-old children.
In addition, "Kate has made no attempt to see or speak with Collin," the insider told RadarOnline.com. "Kate rarely sees or talks with Hannah, but they do have some contact."
"Jon allows her to go over anytime she wants, but Kate never asks her to come."
In May 2018 — eight months prior to gaining custody of Collin — RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that Jon had won custody of Hannah.
This was a huge victory for Jon, who had been mostly estranged from his eight children since his tumultuous divorce from Kate in 2009.
Sadly, Kate is now estranged from son Collin.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Kate sent Collin away in 2016 to live in a facility following what she referred to as "behavioral issues."
Collin would remain at the facility until 2018, when he returned to live with his dad.
A source close to the family previously told RadarOnline.com that Kate — who didn’t agree with her son’s release — hadn’t visited or tried to reach out to him since. Likewise, Collin “didn’t want to see her.”

As fans know, Collin and Hannah both started their first day of high school on Monday, August 26.
In an Instagram post Jon shared that day, the two teens appeared to be in good spirits.
Jon has previously opened up about his relationship with his other six kids.
“If they don’t want to talk to me, that’s fine, as long as they keep up with their sibling connections,” Jon told Us Weekly in 2018. “Eventually, if they come around and they want to talk to me, that’s cool.”
