Mel B and Stephen Belafonte’s roller coaster marriage seems to be hitting a high point over the holidays.

With reports of alleged physical abuse and a nasty divorce on the horizon, the family presented a united front in an Instagram pic Thursday — a day after the America’s Got Talent personality’s daughter Phoenix defended her embattled stepfather on the social media site.

On Wednesday, Belafonte, 39, posted an Instagram pic of himself driving with Phoenix, writing they were “getting last min Christmas shopping done.”

What’s next for the two is anyone’s guess: As RadarOnline.com previously reported, an insider this week said that the separated couple continues to veer closer toward divorce court, with one source saying that the one-time Scary Spice has been “openly talking” about ending the seven-year marriage for good.

“She feels that he has been way too controlling of her life,” a source told Radar, “and is now ready to be free."
