Backstage drama at The View continues to escalate and this week's battle resulted in tears.
Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg faced off over two hot topics this week: Bill Cosby and the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
"There's terrible frustration and there are problems," a source told the Daily News. "Whoopi didn't want to talk about Cosby and Ferguson, Rosie (O'Donnell) did - how could you not? These are topics that are uncomfortable for everyone, but it's The View and it's their job to talk about topics that might make some people tense."

Things got so tense that new co-host Rosie Perez ended up crying!
Producers consoled Perez but sources said her distress also stems from pressure to measure up. "She's constantly correcting herself because she's constantly screwing something up. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed."
A rep for The View did damage control saying, "This story is mean-spirited and greatly exaggerated by someone who is obviously disgruntled and has some agenda. There was no fight."
