Justin Bieber's jet was held at an airport in New Jersey on Friday on suspicion that it was carrying marijuana, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
According to a report from Page Six, law enforcement stopped the Canadian pop star's personal plane at Teterboro airport after a strong odor of pot was detected.
Bieber, 19, was reportedly on his way to the Super Bowl after leaving Toronto, where he turned himself in to the local police station on Wednesday and was charged with criminal assault stemming from a Dec. 29 incident in which he allegedly hit a limo driver.

The plane was held while drug-sniffing dogs searched the vessel, but it's not confirmed whether or not the "Baby" singer was actually on board.
Bieber was also arrested in Miami on Jan. 23 for DUI, drag racing, resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license.
The singer's attorney entered a not guilty plea to the Florida court on Wednesday and although official toxicology reports have yet to be released, preliminary tests reveal Bieber tested positive for marijuana and Xanax.
