Justin Bieber kissed his mom Pattie Mallette on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of his newest flick Believe Wednesday, a day after he raised eyebrows exiting a black van that emitted plumes of suspicious smoke when he opened the door.

The "Baby" singer wore a red suit with his hair spiffed up as he kissed his mother -- who was quite the knockout herself in a snug silver dress that exposed plenty of cleavage. Bieber's grandparents were also on hand for the big night, as were young Hollywood upstarts Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner.

At the premiere, bad boy Biebs had a special section set up for graffiti artists on hand to ply their craft.

The 19-year-old star -- who's been tied to a handful of marijuana-related incidents, caught the attention of the Los Angeles Police Dept. with the van stunt, as online reports indicated the boys in blue were keeping an eye out for his party-on-wheels.

The Biebs' new album Journals hits iTunes Dec. 23, while the film will hit theaters Dec. 25.
