Liam Hemsworth Thrills In Manila, But WON’T Talk About Miley Cyrus

Liam Hemsworth looked his usual handsome self at a promotional event for his clothing line Bench at the Peninsular hotel in Manila in the Philippines Friday, in the wake of reports he and Miley Cyrus have broken off their engagement.

All of the questions asked of the hunky Aussie Thursday were carefully selected and pre-screened, hence the lack of talk about his love life. In what's likely another attempt to avoid uncomfortable questions about his relationship with The Hannah Montana star, the 23-year-old has canceled a promotional appearance at a red carpet premiere in Tampa, Fl. next week for his new film Empire State, E! reported.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Liam spent the week in his native Australia with his brother Chris, while Miley had been seen without her engagement ring in Los Angeles.

The Last Song co-stars got engaged last May when Liam popped the question with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond ring.

Empire State hits theaters later this year.
