Emily Maynard thought she was doing the right thing by taking Jef Holm back, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she was stunned when she realized she’d made a mistake by trying to reconcile.

“Emily is really hurt by Jef,” a source close to the blonde North Carolinian told RadarOnline.com about The Bachelorette’s ex-flame.

“She wasn’t sure if they should go back out again, but she decided to give it a try and now she’s really sorry.”

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Emily and Jef were giving it another shot when they went on a date in Charlotte.

The single mother tried to give Jef a second chance, but when he was spotted with another woman she felt she was burned again.

“Emily is at her wits end with Jef. He tells her that he wants to get back together, but then he turns around and goes out with other women! She’s sick of it and she doesn’t want to continue to let him hurt her.”
