Now That's Not Very Festive Ashton! Kutcher Files For Divorce From Demi Moore

What a rotten holiday gift. 

Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce from his estranged wife Demi Moore on Friday, ending their marriage that broke down after he was caught cheating on their sixth wedding anniversary.

Ashton, 34, filed the papers in Los Angeles Superior Court and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Demi, 50, has had a difficult year and divorce papers likely aren't something the actress was looking forward to, despite her statement more than a year ago saying that she was ending their marriage.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, despite a brief reconciliation, Demi has once again become estranged from her three daughters, Rumer, Tallulah and Scout, over her recent bizarre behavior and her inability to let go of her feelings for Ashton and move on.

Not surprisingly, as Demi finds herself estranged from her family and alone once again, she has been dreading the holiday season.

"She's determined to find young love again and is at a loss as to why she is still single," a source said. "On top of having no love life, her daughters have once again turned their backs on her — she just feels so alone, and that feeling is made all the worse as Christmas approaches."

However, Ashton has clearly moved on, and has been very public in his displays of affection with his current girlfriend Mila Kunis.

Let's hope 2013 will be a much better year for Demi!
