Kathy Griffin knows a good thing when she sees it, and the comic believes that Liz & Dick will be the funniest thing on TV this year, unintentionally of course.

So Griffin is hosting a Liz & Dick viewing party, and Lance Bass and Glee's Chris Colfer are among the invited guests.

Griffin isn't alone in thinking the Lindsay Lohan flick is going to be a party packaged in the guise of a TV movie.

Restaurants from Mahoney's in Chicago to Revolver Video in West Hollywood -- "Party starts at 5PM. Wreckage begins at 6PM" -- to thousands of private homes are holding bashes with many hosts requesting their guests come in costume.

As RadarOnline.com has reported, Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor and the movie itself, have gotten horrifically bad reviews.

But Lohan isn't backing away from the Lifetime project, even with reviews like the San Francisco Chronicle suggesing the biopic is "so terrible, you’ll need to ice your face when it’s over to ease the pain of wincing for two hours."
