Christian Bale In Colorado To Visit With Theater Shooting Victims

The Dark Knight Rises star Christian Bale is in Aurora, Colorado to visit victims of the movie theater shooting, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers," an assistant for the executive vice president for Warner Brothers corporate communications confirmed to the Denver Post.

During a midnight premiere of the much-anticipated Batman flick on July 20, James Holmes, 24, opened fire on the audience, killing 12 and injuring 58 others.

Christian spoke out the next day saying, "Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them."
