Legendary Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital after having a “mild heart attack.”
Sony Pictures Television released a statement saying that the 71-year-old Canadian is expected to ”fully recover” after the health scare on Saturday.
“Trebek is in good spirits and is currently undergoing further testing. He is expected to fully recover and be back at Jeopardy! when production begins taping in July for the new season, the show’s 29th," a spokesperson said.
Trebek had a heart attack in December 2007. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, last summer he was injured while confronting a burglar in San Francisco.
