Singer El DeBarge Arrested For Drug Possession – Again!

80’s pop singer El DeBarge was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of narcotics with intent to sell on Monday.
Eldra DeBarge was arrested at 2pm PT in Encino, California was taken into custody and was released from jail after posting a $30,000 bail.
El DeBarge has a long history of arrests -- since 2001 he has been arrested three times for drug possession and he was sentenced to two years in prison for a drug bust in 2008.
The Rhythm of the Night singer was scheduled to go on tour in 2011 but he checked into rehab and ended up cancelling the tour.
He released an album in 2010, his first in 16 years, and was nominated for two Grammys for the song Second Chances.
Whitney Houston had an emotional run-in with El DeBarge at the Tru nightclub just two days before she tragically passed away, and the two shared a tearful hug.
El DeBarge is scheduled to be in court on April 9.
