Last Photos: Whitney Houston Disheveled and Distressed

Whitney Houston's death is sending shockwaves around the world but the last images of the tragic singer showed that she was very troubled.
The 48-year-old was last pictured looking worse for wear as she left Tru Hollywood nightclub on Thursday night.
The I Will Always Love You star appeared to have blood dripping down her leg and scratches on her wrist.
It was reported last week that Whitney was on the brink of bankruptcy and had lost the millions she earned from an illustrious career in the 80s and 90s.
Although credited with having one of the most beautiful voices in recording music industry, Whitney became more known for her embattled marriage to R&B singer Bobby Brown and her drug use.
She seemed to have cleaned up her act in 2009 when she went on a media blitz, including a sit down with Oprah Winfrey, where she said she was off drugs and looking forward to getting back on top in her music career. But it wasn’t to be.

Whitney’s cause of death is not yet known.
