Demi Moore sought professional treatment following her frightening collapse, seizure and hospitalization last month, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she is “doing well” in rehab.
The 49-year-old Ghost star has struggled in the last year with substance abuse issues and an eating disorder. She continued to spiral downward after splitting with her husband, Ashton Kutcher, last November after he was caught cheating on what would have been their sixth wedding anniversary.
However, after just a few weeks of treatment, Moore’s friends and family are noticing an improvement with her demeanor, and they’re encouraged by the progress she is making, according to insiders.
“Demi is really doing well in rehab,” a source close to the actress told RadarOnline.com. “She was about to hit rock bottom but now things are looking up for her.”
The mother of three has spent the last few weeks focusing on her issues but is looking to the future when she can get back to her life.

“Demi has a good outlook for the future and those around her think that she is taking her treatment seriously so that she doesn’t have another incident like the one in January,” the source said.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Demi was with a group of friends and her oldest daughter Rumer when she “smoked something” and then collapsed into convulsions and was rushed to the hospital.
“She knows what happened was dangerous and she doesn’t want to have a repeat of that again, especially not in front of her daughter,” the source said.
“Demi has been doing so well in treatment but the people around her aren’t expecting she’ll get out yet, she has a lot of work to do still to be and stay healthy.”
