It has been 6 months since Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment, but the soulful singer’s spirit was very much alive at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Iconic designer Jean Paul Gaultier paid tribute to Winehouse, fashioning his models like the late singer and sending them down the runway in his Spring Summer 2012 collection – and RadarOnline.com has the photos and details.
Styled with elaborate beehives, heavy eyeliner and painted on moles, the gorgeous supermodels looked just like the star, who passed away prematurely in July.
"Amy Winehouse was a true style icon," Gaultier explained to reporters backstage about his Winehouse-inspired collection.
"What she stands for above all, is uniqueness. Both in music and the way she dressed, she mixed a great many influences.”
