16-year-old bride Courtney Stodden’s father spent 21 hours in jail for a DUI, and RadarOnline.com has all the exclusive details.
Courtney’s dad, Alex John Stodden, was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail in Washington State for Driving Under the Influence at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday and was released Friday at 6:00 a.m.
According to jail officials, Alex was arrested in February on a DUI charge and appeared in court earlier this week where he pled guilty and was ordered to serve jail time by the judge.
“He went to jail on Thursday on a court ordered commitment,” the official told RadarOnline.com.
Stodden’s teenage daughter Courtney grabbed headlines in May when she married Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison — who is three years older than Courtney’s 48-year-old father, Alex!
“Every father can only pray to have such a man behind their daughter,” Alex told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview in June. “Doug is the nicest man I’ve ever met in my life.”
