‘Teen Mom’ Amber Admits She Doesn’t Buy Shady Matt’s Lies: ‘Do I Believe It? No’
Amber Portwood may be standing by her man after RadarOnline.com exposed his years of shocking behavior, but she isn’t buying his constant excuses.
In a candid new interview with Cosmopolitan, the Teen Mom OG star, 26, says she doesn’t believe fiancé Matt Baier’s far-fetched story about why he hit on her costar, Farrah Abraham, on Twitter before turning his attention to her.
The 45-year-old father of nine secret children told the MTV reality star that his poker friend sent the tweets from his phone. (RadarOnline.com was first to reveal that Baier pursued Abraham and Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans first.)
“Do I believe it? Not really,” Portwood admits, adding that she isn’t really bothered by his falsehoods. “Do I care? No, not really, because this was all before Matt and I even started talking…I’m not really mad about it or anything because I’ve been with the man for over two years, and we have a really good life together. There’s no doubt in anybody’s mind that this man loves me.”
She also doesn’t believe Baier’s constant claims that he never watched Teen Mom before he met her.

“He always says that, but I know he was a fricking fan of the show,” she says. "I swear to God, that man ... He’s just an older man who doesn’t want to admit that he watched Teen Mom because all of his friends would be like, ‘You’re such a freaking wussy.’”
As RadarOnline.com reported, Baier originally told his girlfriend that he was the father of two kids. But on the show, Portwood’s ex Gary Shirley discovered that the shady Boston native actually had seven kids with five women who collectively sued him for unpaid child support.
After Shirley’s sleuthing, RadarOnline.com discovered that he actually has a whopping nine children with seven different women.
In a bombshell report, RadarOnline.com also learned that Baier was accused of sexual assault in a restraining order filed by a woman who later committed suicide.
