Speaking with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, Kim Kardashian addressed rumors she’s been hooking up with Kanye West, as well as responding to new barbs from Mad Men Star Jon Hamm.
Asked about the Kanye whispers, Kim joked, “I think I’m still married” -- referring to her ill-fated union with Kris Humphries -- before launching into a vague denial she’s romantically attached to the Paranoid singer.
“I’m really not dating right now at all: I’m really just focusing on work,” the entrepreneur, 31, told Seacrest. “I know I always say this, but I’m trying to just get through my situation and just have fun.”
Then there’s that whole Jon Hamm issue that won’t go away, as the critically acclaimed actor continues to paint Kim (and her family’s entertainment empire) as cheap, vapid entertainment.
“I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another,” said Kim. “I just feel like, to be honest, it’s all about trying to stay focused and keeping everything positive.

“It really takes a lot more energy and effort to be harsh than to say something nice and be positive.”
Hamm told Elle UK Kim and Paris Hilton’s popularity stems from the fact that "being a f---ing idiot is a valuable commodity." After Kim called his comments careless, he told the Today Show, “It’s a part of our culture that I certainly don’t identify with, and I don’t really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility ... there are a lot of channels on the dials and those channels need to be filled up with things.”
