Dr. Conrad Murray has formally filed documents to start the appeal of his involuntary manslaughter conviction, and to let it be known that he is now representing himself, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for his role in the death of Michael Jackson. Murray was formally sentenced last Tuesday to four years in jail.

In the notice of appeal, Murray is seeking preliminary hearing and trial transcripts, all written motions, and jury instructions.
The convicted felon filed the documents “pro per” meaning he is now representing himself.

Dr. Murray is currently at the Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles.
