Asked about why her marriage fell apart after less than three years, a flustered Bethenny Frankel said "fundamental differences" were the cause of her split from estranged husband Jason Hoppy.

The former Real Housewives of New York star, 42, appeared on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday, where Andy Cohen grilled her about her contentious split -- and she opened up about it, though seemed uncomfortable in doing so.

When Cohen asked her about their unique cohabitation during the split — they continue to share the same New York City penthouse -- Bethenny said, "I'm not really … I can't really comment … you see us coming in and out of the apartment."

As we previously reported, both Bethenny and Jason, 41, have petitioned the court for full custody of their 3-year-old daughter Bryn.

The Skinnygirl mogul was on to promote her self-titled talk show that recently returned to the air; asked about how she balances work with her uber-busy schedule at this time, Bethenny downplayed her ongoing troubles, deferring to those who have much more jagged roads to travel down, such as those raising special needs children.

"I do and I don't know how men operate this way, but I have so much respect for women you just, you don't get more than you can take … you keep moving, you prioritize," she said. "There are so many people going through so many difficult things," she said, "and I can work through this with women on my show."

Elsewhere Tuesday, Bethenny gave her take on the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West -- "I don't love it," she said — as well as predicting gloom and doom for Teresa and Joe Giudice in their ongoing legal woes.

"My friend said they're going to the clink, I don't wish that on them," she said. "It's a horrendous situation that they're going though."
