Pothead to Newlywed! 'Little People, Big World' Star Jacob Roloff's Secrets & Scandals Revealed
Sept. 6 2019, Published 8:51 a.m. ET
Jacob Roloff, the black sheep brother of the Little People, Big World family, is getting married on Saturday at the family farm, and after years of awkward estrangement, the drama promises to be high at the family reunion.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Jacob’s relationship with his father, Matt, is in such a fragile state that he tried to ban the 22-year-old from having his wedding on the family farm.
Luckily, mother Amy came to the rescue. Amy, who recently sold her portion of the farm to ex-husband Matt, did so with the stipulation that she would hand over the farm house and be fully moved out by Nov. 1, well after this weekend’s wedding.
“When we first agreed to this back in January of 2019… I put down November 1 of 2019, because originally he had kind of suggested, ‘nope Jacob is not going to get married here,’ Amy said in a Facebook Live video on July 14. “And I thought ‘Jacob not married on the farm? What is he talking about?’ All the kids got married on the farm… No way!'”
Jacob has been estranged from most of his family since their parents divorced. At one point, he didn't talk to any of them, and even accused his parents of stealing money from him. He hasn't been on the show for nearly five years.

Engagement
Jacob got engaged to girlfriend Isabel Rock Sophia Garreton on Christmas Day 2017.
I Object!
Almost immediately, sister-in-law and Christian blogger Audrey posted a cryptic message slamming couples who “dabbled with sexual intimacy before marriage.” As RadarOnline.com previously reported, hyper-religious Audrey and free spirit Jacob have never gotten along. While the rest of the family has strict Christian beliefs, Jacob identifies himself as agnostic.
Jacob dropped Audrey from his Instagram followers list soon after. A year later, he seemingly cut brother Jeremy out as well, unfollowing him in January 2019. A source close to the family told RadarOnline.com Jacob is trying to distance himself from the couple.
No Love Lost
“People already know that he doesn’t really get along with Audrey,” the insider admitted. “He thinks she’s too judgmental, and I’m guessing he just didn’t want to see her on his brothers’ account anymore.”
Leaving Fame
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jacob left the show in 2014 after later explaining he felt “isolated” and “angry” for being pushed into reality TV fame at a young age.
False Fortune
He also previously lashed out about being ripped off from the Little People, Big World fortune.
Show Me The Money
“Man I wish it didn’t feel like I was getting f**ked out of the money from the show that was my childhood right now,” the disgruntled star famously wrote on Twitter.
Dad’s Fault
In October 2018, RadarOnline.com revealed that Jacob blamed dad Matt for ruining his marriage to Amy.
‘Blame On Dad’
“Jacob and his dad don’t have the best relationship,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “I think when his parents divorced he put a lot of the blame on his dad. His mom was hurting for a long time, and he believes Matt was the sole cause of that — like his dad is the one that blew up the whole family.”
Beyond Family
Jacob’s troubling behavior extends beyond his immediate family. In October, 2018 RadarOnline.com revealed he once had his license suspended after being accused of speeding twice in two years, and then failing to appear in court to pay the fines.
Dropout
The high school dropout also admitted he never graduated. "If you can tell my intellectual level with me not having finished formal high school, why do I still need it? Just to say so?" he once asked a fan.
Cops and Pots
He has also been vocal about supporting the legalization of marijuana and protesting police brutality.
No Vaccines
Jacob also controversially doesn't believe in vaccinating children. "If we don't even know the risks, how would we know the benefits outweigh them?" he said in the past. "My kids won't be vaccinated don't worry."
Peace
After years of strife, Jacob made a fragile peace with his family in June, 2017, explaining he had just made some major changes in his life around the time he began mouthing off on social media.
‘I Grew Up’
“I rebelled…I left the show and I left the religion I was brought up with, and I left it in a pretty flamboyant way,” he recalls. “Now I’m like I don’t need to hate it. Essentially that is to say, I grew up.”
