Sarah Ferguson is relying on a dwindling inner circle of close allies, with sources telling RadarOnline.com the former royal now has "almost nobody" left as she retreats from public life amid mounting family scandal.
Ferguson, 66, the former wife of ex-Prince Andrew, also 66, has kept a notably low profile since February, when Andrew faced renewed scrutiny and upheaval surrounding his position and living arrangements.
Ferguson has relied on a small inner circle while retreating from public life.
Stripped of her duchess title last October by King Charles, Ferguson has also been displaced from Royal Lodge, the Windsor residence she shared with Andrew despite their 1996 divorce.
With her long-term home no longer available and her public standing diminished, questions have emerged about her current living situation and support network.
A source familiar with Ferguson's circumstances said her social circle has contracted dramatically.
The insider said, "Her inner circle has shrunk to almost nobody. There are only a handful of people she feels she can truly rely on now, and that has been a difficult adjustment for her."
Priscilla Presley and Family Offer Stability
Jane Ferguson Luedecke has remained a constant confidante for her sister during the crisis.
Among those said to be offering support is Priscilla Presley, the former wife of Elvis. Sources have told us Ferguson has spent time in Los Angeles at Presley's Century City penthouse following periods staying at luxury resorts in Switzerland and Ireland.
Another insider said Presley has become a key figure during this period of uncertainty.
They added: "Priscilla has quietly become a crucial source of stability for Sarah during what has been an incredibly turbulent period. She has opened up her home and created an environment where Sarah can decompress and feel a sense of normality away from the relentless public attention. It is one of the very few places where she does not feel judged or scrutinized, and where she can rely on genuine support and understanding when everything else around her has felt uncertain."
Ferguson is also understood to be leaning on her sister, Jane Ferguson Luedecke, who has long been a trusted confidante of the former duchess. The sisters have maintained a close bond over the years, with Jane previously traveling from Australia to support Ferguson during difficult moments.
An insider said Jane's role has been particularly important given the broader retreat of Ferguson's social circle.
They added: "Jane has consistently been one of the few people Sarah can rely on without hesitation, someone whose support has never wavered regardless of circumstances. As others in her wider circle have gradually distanced themselves, that steady, unquestioning loyalty has taken on even greater importance, giving Sarah a sense of grounding at a time when much else in her life feels uncertain."
Ferguson herself has spoken warmly about her sister in the past, describing her as a "phenomenal human" and saying, "I respect, love, and admire her. I'm her little naughty sister, and she puts me first."
Sabrina Elba appeared alongside the former royal at a London event last May.
A third figure in Ferguson's ever-shrinking social orbit is Sabrina Elba, the wife of actor Idris Elba.
The two were pictured together at a London event in May 2025, appearing relaxed as they posed arm-in-arm.

Reports have indicated Ferguson has remained effectively homeless after her Windsor departure.
Despite the three connections, sources said Ferguson's reputation has made it difficult to maintain wider friendships.
One insider said, "There is a growing feeling that several people who were once part of her wider social circle have gradually stepped back in light of the continuing controversies surrounding her and her family. For some, the association has become too complicated or sensitive to manage in the public eye, and as a result, they have chosen to keep their distance rather than remain visibly connected."
Reports have also indicated Ferguson may have struggled to secure a permanent base, with claims she has been "effectively homeless" and "sofa-surfing" following her departure from Royal Lodge.
It is unclear whether she will ultimately settle in the UK or continue dividing her time internationally.
Another source said the situation has been emotionally challenging for Ferguson as she adjusts to a more isolated lifestyle.
