Michael Madsen Arrested In Malibu For Trespassing On Private Property, One Month Following Son's Suspected Suicide
Michael Madsen has reportedly been arrested in Malibu after being caught trespassing on someone else's private property. The arrest comes almost exactly one month following his son’s suspected suicide from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
According to Daily Mail, the 64-year-old Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs actor was arrested around 9:30 PM Wednesday night in Cali. He was reportedly taken to a hospital before subsequently being taken to the police station where he was booked and given a bail set to $500.
Three police cars reportedly showed up to his home to make the arrest. Photos obtained by the outlet show the actor handcuffed behind his back and being let to one of the police cars by an armed police officer.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Madsen’s arrest Wednesday nights comes just short of what will be one month since his 26-year-old son Hudson was found dead from a suspected suicide at his Wahiawa, Hawaii home.
“I can confirm Hudson Lee Madsen, 26, died by a gunshot wound to the head in a suspected suicide on the island of Oahu,” the Department of the Medical Examiner in Honolulu’s spokesperson revealed following his death.

Hunter’s father Michael, who was arrested Wednesday night, was a close friend and associate of famous Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino – so much so that Tarantino was Hunter’s godfather.
Madsen’s son was found by his wife, Carlie, who had posted a message expressing her love for Hunter just days prior to his suspected suicide.
“He’s been amazing in helping with my recovery and I’m just so thankful!” Carlie wrote after stating how Hudson was an “amazing husband.”
After the medical examiner confirmed Hunter’s death, his family released a statement further confirming Madsen’s son’s passing.
"We are heartbroken and overwhelmed with grief and pain at the loss of Hudson,” his family said in the statement. “His memory and light will be remembered by all who knew and loved him."
Madsen's arrest for trespassing Wednesday is far from the first time the actor has found himself in trouble with the law.
In 2011, Madsen was slammed for owing the state of California more than $200,000 in back taxes. One year later, the actor was arrested for fighting one of his teenage children. Just months later, the actor was arrested once again following a suspected DUI.
