Donald Trump attacked his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen this week as Cohen prepared to take the stand to testify against the former president, RadarOnline.com has learned.
In the latest development to come as ex-President Trump remains on trial for fraud in New York, Cohen reportedly testified against his former boss on Tuesday.
Reporters caught up with Trump before he entered the Manhattan courtroom to hear Cohen’s testimony, and the embattled ex-president called his former fixer a “proven liar” and a “felon.”
“Well, he’s a proven liar, as you know,” Trump charged. “He’s a felon who served a lot of time for lying, and we’re going to just go in and see him.”
“He’s a liar trying to get a better deal for himself,” the former president added, “but its not going to work.”
Meanwhile, Cohen also spoke to reporters before his testimony.
He emphasized that the trial proceedings on Tuesday were not about “Donald Trump versus Michael Cohen” or “Michael Cohen versus Donald Trump.”
“This is not about Donald Trump versus Michael Cohen, or Michael Cohen versus Donald Trump,” he said. “This is about accountability, plain and simple.”
“We leave it up to Judge Engoron in order to make all of the determinations on that.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, former President Trump remains on trial in New York in connection to a $250 million fraud lawsuit filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James last year.
The judge overseeing the trial, Judge Arthur Engoron, ruled in September that Trump did commit fraud in New York by defrauding banks and insurers while building his real estate empire.
Judge Engoron ruled against Trump regarding discrepancies in the ex-president's reported net worth – which was used to secure business deals and funding.

The judge found that Trump also defrauded banks, insurers, and others by exaggerating his net worth.
Although Judge Engoron already ruled that Trump and his company committed fraud, the current trial involves remaining claims of conspiracy, insurance fraud, and falsifying business records.
“This is a continuation of the single greatest witch hunt of all time,” Trump said when the case went to trial on October 2. “We have a rogue judge who rules that properties are worth a tiny fraction of what they actually are.”
"We have a racist attorney general who is a horror show and who ran on the basis that she was going to get Trump before she knew anything about me,” he continued at the time.
