What family problems? Kate Gosselin is ignoring her ex’s abuse claims and continuing on with her life.
This Wednesday, September 18, the Kate Plus Date star, 44, shared a photo of her at home with her kids, having dinner.
“Pets are people too!” She captioned the shot which showed her daughter giving their pet bird water and broccoli at the dinner table.
RadarOnline.com readers know Kate’s happy family post came just hours after her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, slammed her in an explosive tell-all with DailyMailTV.
In the interview, the father of eight, 42, accused Kate of emotionally abusing their kids, particularly son Collin and daughter Hannah. He said that while Collin, 15, suffers from nothing other than regular ADHD, Kate saw him as an inconvenience to her lifestyle, and sent him off to live in a psychiatric center without notifying Jon. After finding out his son had been living in the center, Jon fought for custody of him and got him released in December 2018.
During Collin’s three years in the treatment facility, Jon said Kate only visited three times — less than two hours in total! He called Kate's treatment of their son completely "inhumane."
“I know my children have suffered abuse and I know one day they’re going to tell their own story,” Jon told DailyMail TV. “And sadly enough, I know what PTSD is. It’s really upsetting.”
He said that Collin and Hannah — who live with him — show clear signs of trauma. Meanwhile, Jon still has no contact with his other six children, as he says Kate has “poisoned” them against him.

“She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything,” he said. “I brought Collin home. He’s a great kid. I want the family unit together, I even want to co-parent.”
Apart from shaming Kate’s parenting skills, Jon also slammed his ex for allegedly putting her celebrity image ahead of her children’s lives. He said that his kids no longer want to appear on TV but feel forced to participate in her show because they know it’s what their mother wants.
“They don’t want to film. They said they have to film. That’s heart breaking,” he said. “They have all said they have to film because they feel they need to provide a lifestyle for their mother.”
Jon said he hadn’t told the “truth” about Kate before because he signed a decade-long gag order after their 2009 divorce, but now that the contract’s finished, he’s ready to tell all.
“It’s time America found out the truth about Kate, she isn’t the person you think she is,” he said of his monster ex.
Kate has not responded to Jon’s scathing comments about her, but according to her latest Instagram post, things are just fine at home.
