Khloe Kardashian thinks it was brave of her ex-husband Lamar Odom to open up about his battles with addiction.

In an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, set to air on September 8, the reality star expresses her thoughts on his, titled Darkness to Light.

After Kim Kardashian asks about her feelings about Lamar's press tour, Khloe responds, "I'm fine. It's his truth. Like he's allowed to tell his version."

She shared her beliefs that the book could be therapeutic for him and acknowledges how bold it was of Lamar to go into so deep into his situation.

"A lot of this stuff wasn't my place to ever talk about, but it's definitely his place as this happened to him," Khloe tells Kim, 38. "I actually think it's really courageous to talk about the amount of addiction that he's had. Like, the depths of it."

The Good American model also showed an appreciation for Lamar's candidness throughout the book.

"It's not all great, but it's…you know, I appreciate the honesty in it," the Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian star reflects. "I like that he says how much he loved filming. 'Cause all of that was true."

In reference to Odom’s mention of their time together, Khloe almost expected it. She noted they "played a significant role in each other's lives” during that time, and even revealed he enjoyed filming Khloe & Lamar.

"He pushed and pushed and pushed," Khloe shares. "He's like, 'I loved it!' I was like, 'Oh good.' Just stay in your truth."

Readers know Khloe, 35, and Lamar, 39, were married for years before infidelity and drug use led to their separation. During their time apart, he was rushed to the hospital after overdosing on drugs at a Nevada brothel, and the Kardashian clan rushed to his aid despite the status of he and Khloe's relationship.

Years after sobering up, he wrote about his life experiences in a tell-all book where he admitted to threatening to kill Khloe and sleeping with over 2000 women. RadarOnline.com reported he fired some nasty accusations at Khloe including the time she allegedly “beat the s**t” out of a stripper that she caught him with during their marriage.

The former NBA star also said the famous Kardashian family treated him cruelly during his 2015 hospitalization.

“I had cousins and childhood friends waiting for hours who got bumped out of line by my famous sisters-in-law. Obviously, I had no idea what was going on,” Lamar wrote. “This was Khloe’s call, and she had never even met most of my family.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Khloe was “disgusted” by the claims made against her in the tell all and couldn't believe Odom “would go and bash her after everything she did for him.” Momager Kris Jenner, 63, however, stepped in and warned Khloe to “not say a word about this book.”

Now, Khloe has spoken out and it seems she’s changed her tune.

Lamar, on the other hand, has apparently turned his life around and is set to compete on this fall's Dancing with the Stars.
