The royal family came together on Saturday, July 6, for the christening of Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry's baby son Archie.
But in-laws Kate Middleton and Prince William, who have been rumored to be feuding with the couple, appeared tense at the event!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared two photos by photographer Chris Allerton after the christening on their Instagram account.
The official portrait shows Meghan, Harry, and Archie surrounded by members of their family, including Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William and Kate.
Meghan's mother Doria Ragland is also in the photo, standing next to two of Harry's aunts, the late Princess Diana's sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes.
The second picture, in black and white, shows an intimate moment of Meghan, 37, cradling Archie as Harry, 34, stands right by her side and lovingly looks down at their first child, who was born on May 6.
Archie was christened "in a small private ceremony" at the private chapel at Windsor Castle.
The Instagram caption reads, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son."
"They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment."
The caption also stated, "Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue."
Although the christening went off smoothly, William, 37, wasn't smiling in the group picture afterwards and clasped his hands stiffly in front of him.
Kate, 37, seated in a chair but appearing worlds away from Meghan, smiled awkwardly and held a stiff seated pose next to her sister-in-law.
Rumors have flown that Meghan and Harry and William and Kate have been at odds.
After the Sussex wedding on May 19, 2018, a source for The Sun said pointedly that the two women are "very different people." Kate supposedly hasn't liked the way Meghan, known as the diva Duchess, has handled royal staffers.
Many employees have quit after working for Meghan.
Also, the two couples have gone their separate ways in the royal household.
Meghan and Harry recently got slammed over the news that their Windsor home was renovated with taxpayers' money equaling about $3.06 million U.S. dollars.
Kate has kept a regal silence regarding Meghan, but they don't seem close. She and William didn't visit the new mom and baby Archie for eight days after the former Suits star gave birth.
The alleged rivalry was set aside for the christening in which Archie was initiated into the Church of England this weekend.
The Instagram photos mark the first time that the public gets a good view of Archie's face.
Surprisingly, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip were not in the christening photos.
