So Awkward! Frenemies Meghan & Kate Share Tense Kiss & Hug During Royal Event

Fake it till you make it! Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton maintained their composure while attending a royal event together this Monday, March 11 in London. The Duchesses, along with their husbands, were pictured at the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey. There, Meghan, 37, and Kate, 37, greeted each other with very awkward cheek kisses and hugs. They smiled, but the tension between them was palpable.
Throughout the ceremony, the former Suits actress stood behind Kate, sporting a stern expression. The Duchess of Cambridge carried the same firm look. When Queen Elizabeth II entered the room, they both curtsied, almost in unison.
RadarOnline.com readers know the feud between Kate and Meghan has been going on for months and began soon after Prince Harry popped the question to the former Hollywood star. Royal insiders have said both Kate and Prince William believe Meghan's values are very different from their own, and they don't appreciate how she treats the palace staff. Though the family has not shared a statement on the matter, several of Meghan's aides, including her personal bodyguard, have quit, supporting sources' theory that she is a total diva!

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton acted like pure royalty on their latest family outing.
Despite their fiery feud, the frenemies fulfilled their Duchess duties at the Commonwealth Day Service — and looked stunning while doing so.
Meghan wore a white Victoria Beckham dress with a subtle floral pattern. She paired the look with a cream coat, dark green shoes and a white pillbox hat — all very Jackie Kennedy-esque.
Kate wore an elegant red fascinator that matched her double-breasted Catherine Walker coat — a fan favorite piece she first wore on a trip to New Zealand in 2014, when Prince George was just a baby.
The event marked Meghan and Kate's second royal outing together this month. On March 5, the Duchesses reunited at Buckingham Palace for a reception that marked the fiftieth anniversary of the investiture of the Prince of Wales. They put on their fakest royal smiles there too.
While her bad blood with Kate doesn't seem to have ceased, Meghan seems content with her new royal life. In the past few weeks, she's been spotted looking happy and gorgeous while showing off her growing baby bump alongside Prince Harry, 34.
Meghan Markle is set to welcome her first child, a boy, this spring.
