Wendy Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr., has pleaded not guilty to assaulting his father following a heated family brawl.
RadarOnline.com has learned the 18-year-old appeared in a New Jersey court on Tuesday, June 25 for his arraignment. He was arrested on May 21 https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2019/05/wendy-williams-son-kevin-jr-arrested-assault-physical-fight/ after allegedly punching dad Kevin Hunter Sr. in the face outside of Krauszer’s Food Stores.
Their fight came days after Williams, 54, filed for divorce from Hunter Sr. after he was rumored to have cheated and fathered a son with his mistress, Sharina Hudson.
Following the nasty father-and-son fight, a source close to the situation told Radar Kevin Sr. “loves his son and cares about his future.”
The next day, the former Wendy Williams Show producer share his own statement on the matter.
“I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally,” Kevin Sr. said. “Things are not always how they appear.”
This Tuesday, Williams and her ex reportedly waited for their son outside the courthouse so as not to make a scene. The prosecutor reportedly asked for more time to review Kevin Jr.’s case, and no action was taken.
