After about six years of dating, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have finally made their red-carpet couple’s debut! This week at the Met Gala, the love birds matched their outfits and posed for photos together before entering the event.
The Dawson’s Creek star looked stunning in a purple custom Zac Posen gown and matching makeup, while her comedian beau rocked a dapper black suit with a sequin panther pin and purple shoes to go with her look.
RadarOnline.com readers know Foxx, 51, and Holmes, 40, fell in love back in 2013, one year after the actress filed from divorce from Scientologist ex Tom Cruise.
It was rumored Holmes signed a strict non-disclosure agreement after her split from Suri’s father, which is why she kept her romance with Foxx completely under wraps for five years.
Throughout that time, she and Foxx dated under the radar, and often enjoyed secret romantic getaways far from the spotlight.
In 2018, they finally took their love public when they were spotted showing PDA during a beach volleyball date. After that, fans began to see more and more of the happy couple. Following years of hiding, they were caught looking love-struck at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammys Gala, and last month were photographed holding hands while running errands in New York City. Sources have said Holmes’ 13-year-old daughter is more than aware of their romance and even treats Foxx like a dad!
Holmes and Foxx’s Met Gala debut marks their first couple’s outing at a major event.
While there have been rumors that the two will tie the knot in Paris, the stars have refused to talk about their relationship in public — and they seem insanely happy!
