RadarOnline.com exclusively reported in October that Ryan Edwards checked into rehab. On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Edwards’ wife Mackenzie confirmed he is currently seeking treatment for his substance abuse issues after a relapse.

His mother Jen explained how he checked into a 90-day intensive rehab facility. He could only make two 10-minute phone calls a week.

“It is a relapse or slip, it was getting out of control,” his mother Jen said, as Mackenzie added, “It was about to spiral bad.”

She continued, “Right before he left he said his kids deserve to have the healthiest dad and what better time to go than now.”

When a producer asked about Ryan not being there for the birth of their son Jagger, she responded, “If I did not love Ryan I would call him the most selfish a**hole ever for missing this. But this is a drop in the baby’s life. If he’s going to miss him being born, but be healthy forever, what more can I ask for?”

Also on the episode, Amber Portwood opened up about her miscarriage with Matt Baier.

“I never told anybody, but when I was with Matt I had a miscarriage,” Portwood said. "I didn’t hear the heartbeat, I didn’t go to the hospital or anything.”

She explained how she “blamed” herself, while Baier “got really drunk because of it.”

“You blame yourself a lot and you wonder what you did wrong for it to happen,” she said. “I got into a really bad depression over that. It takes a while to move forward. It’s pretty intense.

Her baby daddy Gary Shirley’s wife opened up about her miscarriage as well.

“I had already had a conversation with my doctor about my missed periods because of course with my tubes being tied there was no concern,” she explained to a producer. “When I started having the pains and they intensified, I decided to call the doctor again.”

She continued, “They found there was a fetus and it was in my left fallopian tube. There was a heartbeat. It implanted in the fallopian tube and not the uterus. I just said get it done with. One of the hardest things I’ve been through.”

Also on the episode, Bristol Palin moved into her new home after her divorce from Dakota Meyer. But she learned that Meyer’s Kentucky home was broken into by the man who has been harassing her family for years.

“His house had gotten broken into,” she told her sister. “It was the stalker.”

She explained how the stalker has been harassing her family ever since her mother ran for vice president. They even have a protection order against him.

“He’s been in and out of jail, but recently he’s been on the run from the law,” she said. “But I’m by myself with the kids in a house in Texas 4000 miles away from everyone I know. I get maybe four hours of sleep as it is because I’ve had this constant threat for years. Super scary.”

She then decided to take a self-defense class to help protect her family as a precaution.

As for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, they celebrated their daughter Carly’s 9th birthday with a cake. They placed their daughter for adoption with a couple named Brandon and Teresa Davis.

But the celebration didn’t last long, as Lowell learned she would not see her daughter for a visit this year.

“Don’t make plans to come here,” Teresa told Lowell over text. “Right now we’re working through somethings with Carly. She’s at an age where she’s trying to figure out her place in life. She’s a 9-year-old girl with a very different story. She has to be confident in who she is and we want her to do that in the least confusing way possible. She needs to mature some.”

When Lowell asked that’s wrong with Carly, Teresa responded, “Catelynn I love you and I don’t mean to sound mean, but there is nothing else to tell you. We appreciate your concern, but there is nothing for you to be worried about. We will visit when we are closer to you, as we’ve said, when it is a better time.”

Lowell never responded.

And finally, Cheyenne Floyd got dinner with her ex-boyfriend Zach. She dumped him after he got drunk and verbally abusive.

“I didn’t mean that s**t,” Zach said. “That’s not who I am. That’s not who you are. That’s what hurt me the most. Alcohol played a role in it, but it stirred up from lack of trust.”

She responded, “I’m still mad. I’m still hurt. Do I want us to figure it out? Yeah. But at the same time, I don’t want you to think because I’m not throwing it away everything it’s okay.”

Floyd decided to work on her relationship with Zach.

Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9/8c on MTV.
