The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster’s glamorous world was thrown into a tailspin last month when she was struck with a debilitating relapse of Lyme disease. But RadarOnline.com has learned she isn’t alone in her fight: Her husband, successful music producer David Foster, has vowed to get his wife the best medical care available — no matter what the cost.
Currently, Yolanda is laid up in Singapore, sources told Radar, where she is undergoing controversial — and pricey — alternative treatment.
"Yolanda accompanied David to Singapore as he films Asia's Got Talent, and she is receiving medical treatment while there,” an insider said. "The medications aren't approved by the FDA in the United States yet."
Throughout the trying ordeal, “David has vowed to spend whatever is needed to get her cured,” the insider continued. "The treatment outside of the United States isn't covered by insurance, and it's very expensive. Luckily, they can afford it."
The reality star revealed in her Bravo blog Monday that she is no longer able to read or write because of the disease.
“It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it," Foster revealed.
Over the weekend, the Dutch beauty, who once worked as a model, posted an image on Instagram of her receiving medical treatment at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, thanking her husband David and the hospital staffers.

“A lot of great medicines and ancient therapies are blocked by the FDA, so that’s why I choose to travel and recognize the value of diverse points of view in medicine,” she wrote.
She said she’s “a firm believer that God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling,” and is faithful she will help find a cure.
In the meantime, the source said, "Yolanda's short term memory has indeed suffered. It's extremely hard for David watch Yolanda try to struggle to find a word, or recall something from the recent past. Lyme disease has just ravaged her brain.”
"On the outside, Yolanda looks perfectly healthy, but once she starts to talk, it's obvious that she is truly suffering,” the source said. "The only positive that has come out of this is Yolanda and David have grown even closer."
