‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Texting Guys After Confessing Marriage To Javi Marroquin Is ‘Not Perfect’
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry finally seemed to find her happy ending with husband Javi Marroquin.
But now the 22-year-old mother of two is opening up to fans about the struggles she’s encountered during her nearly two-year marriage.
“Nobody told me marriage was easy but I never could have imagined the limits it would push me to,” Lowry posted on Instagram this morning, captioning a cute photo of she and Marroquin, 22. “We aren’t perfect and we’ve never claimed to be…If I posted this saying everything was perfect, I would be lying because it’s not.”
Now RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal more about the union’s many troubles. Sources say Lowry has been reaching out to male friends behind her hubby’s back.
“Kail has been texting guys wanting to catch up and hang out— without Javi,” an insider tells Radar. “It’s very odd behavior for a married woman.”
Another friend says that despite the glowing post about her United States Airforce man, Lowry rarely mentions Marroquin in conversations with friends.
“She doesn’t even talk about him,” the source reveals. “There’s obviously trouble in paradise.”
On the last season of Teen Mom 2, Lowry broke down and cried in a candid conversation with her now-estranged mother Suzi about her mounting problems with Marroquin.
“Being married is not what I thought it would be at all,” the Pride Over Pity author admitted in the August 2014 episode. “It’s a lot of compromise, a lot of things I’m not used to.”
Earlier in the season, she admitted her marriage had been “rocky” since the November 2013 birth of their son Lincoln.
Indeed, on the season 5 reunion, Lowry and Marroquin fought when she finally revealed that her struggling alcoholic mother babysat their infant while she was drunk.
