‘Teen Mom 2’ Not Canceled, Season 6 Will Go On Without Leah Messer

Leah Messer may be quitting Teen Mom 2— but fans can rest assured, because the series isn’t ending.
RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the hit MTV reality show will continue on without the troubled mother of three, 22.
“The other girls have signed on and are ready to film a sixth season,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. “They’ll be shooting as usual.”
Though Messer and her costars Kailyn Lowry, 22, Chelsea Houska, 23, and Jenelle Evans, 22, are friends off-screen, the West Virginia native has remained mum about her shocking departure.
“She hasn’t told anyone what’s really going on,” the source says.
Though she isn’t sharing her reasons with some of her close pals, RadarOnline.com reported that Messer left the show because she’s terrified her not-so-wholesome reality image will lead her to lose custody of her 4-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah. (She has been engaged in a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Corey Simms, 25.)

“Leah’s final court date is coming up, and her behavior on the show made her look really bad to the judge,” a source told RadarOnline.com on Friday of the drug-addled star, who was caught on camera nodding off during a conversation with Ali’s doctor.
Now both Teen Mom series have whittled their casts down to three stars. As RadarOnline.com reported in May, sex-tape star Farrah Abraham, 23, was dropped from the show when her antics became too racy for MTV. Teen Mom 1, starring Maci Bookout, 23, Catelynn Lowell, 22, and Amber Portwood, 24, will begin airing early next year.
