Andy Cohen Slams ‘Long Island Medium’ Theresa Caputo In New Tell-All: Private Reading 'Was A Lot Of Fishing’

Howard Stern and Anderson Cooper aren’t the only media moguls who are skeptical of Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo’s psychic abilities.
RadarOnline.com can reveal that in his new tell-all, Bravo honcho Andy Cohen says he asked the TLC reality star, 47, for a private reading immediately after she made an appearance on his talk show Watch What Happens Live in March 2014.
“I asked for a few minutes with her afterwards to see if Natasha would come through,” Cohen, 46, writes in The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look At A Shallow Year, referring to his late best friend Natasha Richardson. “She didn’t, so it was a lot of fishing.”
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported this summer, disappointed clients have accused Caputo of fishing, or making general statements to prompt the participant to reveal more about him or herself.
The next day, Caputo apparently regretted not giving Cohen a satisfying experience — but the grieving host, who lost his actress pal to a skiing accident at just 45 in 2009, was through with the self-proclaimed medium.
“Theresa Caputo’s manager…said she feels terrible that she didn’t give me a good reading and wants to do it over,” he says, “a polite offer that I refused.”
Caputo has been accused of doing extensive research on her clients’ personal histories before readings, RadarOnline.com reported in June.
“I think Theresa’s a phony,” a former client told RadarOnline.com. “I don’t think she really gives a sh*t about the people she meets. It’s all for the cameras.”
Caputo has brushed off the backlash, huffing “I don’t let negativity and negative people affect me.”
