Joe Giudice’s tragic loss is now affecting his serious legal troubles.
On September 25, an attorney for the Real Housewives of New Jersey husband— who plead guilty to fraud and tax evasion charges in March— requested an order altering the conditions of his release following the sudden death of his 63-year-old father Frank.
“As Mr. Frank Giudice tragically passed away on June 18, 2014, I am respectfully submitting a proposed Consent Order modifying the previous ‘Order Setting Conditions of Release’ to omit Frank Giudice’s name (making Giuseppe Giudice the sole signor),” Joe’s lawyer Miles Feinstein wrote to a New Jersey judge in documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.
Joe and wife Teresa, both 43, were released on $500,000 bond from federal court following their 39-count indictment on July 31, 2013, with Frank’s signature on an unsecured appearance bond.
The judge has not yet responded to the request.
The parents to four daughters will face sentencing for their confessed crimes tomorrow, October 2.
RadarOnline.com recently revealed that the pair’s outlook is dim: Insiders claim prosecutors are asking the judge to sentence the reality stars to prison for maximum terms under their plea deal.
Sources add that Joe could be sentenced to 47 months in prison, while Teresa faces 27 months behind bars.
