Fans thought Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry had gotten her happy ending when she married boyfriend Javi Marroquin last year. But when recent episodes revealed the couples’s marital struggles after the birth of their son Lincoln months later, was it a sign she’s headed for heartbreak once more? No, says an insider. According to a source close to the fan fave, Lowry and Marroquin are back on track — and doing better every day.
“Having a newborn is hard and that’s the only drama that they had,” a friend of the couple told RadarOnline.com. “But Kailyn and Javi are doing good."
In fact, recently Lowry has had time to work on her own goals, and has even gone back to school to finish her Bachelor’s Degree.
“She started on Tuesday and is majoring in Mass Communications at Delaware State University,” the friend said.
“Kailyn takes the classes on campus and has them five days a week,” the friend continued. “She has two years left to finish her degree.”

And while she has two little boys at home — Lincoln and Isaac, 4, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera — she has plenty of help watching them as she goes to school.
“Right now Javi’s mom and sister are helping,” the friend said. “And on the days that they can’t, Kailyn’s friend is helping her out.”
Lowry is enjoying the chance to get a little grown-up time to herself.
“Isaac goes to preschool and honestly as much as she loves staying at home with Lincoln, Kailyn finds it nice to get out of the house and interact with adults,” the friend said.
