The new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is just around the corner, and you better bet Bravo is banking on sympathy for the legally embattled couple of Joe and Teresa Giudice.

According to an insider, the first teaser for Season 6 will even feature a clip of the Giudice's 13-year-old daughter, Gia, in tears.

"The new season is going to start on July 13, which is only five days after Teresa is to be sentenced in the fraud case," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"Bravo is going to make Teresa look incredibly sympathetic this season, and they will even show her daughter Gia crying."

Despite her legal woes, Teresa still has a very large fan base and the network plans to utilize it.

"Teresa has denied in the past that she will let Bravo exploit her children by showing them upset," the source added, "but in the end it's all about the ratings."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Joe and Teresa were convicted on 41 counts of fraud and tax evasion and the stand to serve 46 months of hard time and 27 months in prison, respectively.
