Bethenny Frankel is not going to give her daughter up without a fight and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she’s going to take the stand in an explosive court showdown to battle Jason Hoppy for custody of little Bryn Hoppy.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star has had one of the nastiest divorces in Hollywood and now the fight is coming to an end as the two have their day in front of a judge arguing over who should ultimately have custody of their 4-year-old child.
Frankel, 43, and Hoppy, 42, were in a Manhattan family courtroom on Thursday when a judge set a trial date for Wednesday, May 28 at 9 am a source confirmed to RadarOnline.com.
And the Skinnygirl mogul is not shying away from the legal battle – the source told RadarOnline.com that she is “taking the stand first thing Wednesday morning” in order to fight for the custody she wants of her child.
In a strange legal twist, the source told RadarOnline.com the attorneys for the embattled couple did not file appropriate documents to keep the courtroom sealed and currently press will be allowed inside to observe the proceedings.

Hoppy had been hoping to settle with his estranged wife, but the source said Frankel is refusing to settle.
“Bethenny sat outside the courtroom and made notes on what looked like a script or a book draft,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com.
“There were no tears or emotions. Both Bethenny and Jason looked very somber.”
