Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney continues on the defense against her ex-husband's child custody ploy, with a Monday morning posting on Facebook citing what she calls "social science research" proving that she should stay in her kids' lives.
Calling Simon Barney "vengeful," Tamra claimed that if she's cut off from her three children they will be more likely to have failed relationships as adults.
"While the vengeful parents may think their child can suffice with them alone, the social science research is clear that children develop best and enjoy a healthier psycho-socio outcome as adults when they have secure relationships to both parents," Tamra, 46, wrote.
"Children who are taught to cut themselves off from a parent are at greater risk of using similar strategies for managing their own adult intimate relationships and thus are at greater risk of failed adult relationships too."
As RadarOnline.com was first to exclusively publish, Simon, filed bombshell court documents against Tamra seeking sole custody of their three children, citing child neglect on the part of the reality TV star.
"Respondent, especially, in recent times, has been very neglectful in her care for the children,” the docs read.

The filing spiraled into an all out war between Tamra and Simon, with their 15-year-old daughter, Sidney, publicly voicing her support for her father and alleging her mother is "verbally and emotionally abusive."
Tamra says she's "devastated" over the allegations made by Simon in the March 28 filing and says, "He is a disgusting human being!"
