Oops, she did it again.

Amanda Bynes' strange string of antics involved clippers Thursday, when the former Nickelodeon star unveiled her new look -- a half-shaved head -- on Twitter.

The What I Like About You star, 27, tweeted, "I buzzed half my head like Cassie," referring to the sexy fashionista who made a brief splash on the charts with her 2006 single, Me & U.

"No more old photos!" she wrote. "This is the new me! I love it!"

Bynes then re-tweeted a number of positive responses from her followers, including one that compared her to other starlets who've opted for the bold 'do, such as Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and Amber Rose. (Sadly for Bynes, she received no reaction from Drake, who remains the target of her obsessive infatuation, complete with bizarre messages and more.)

She might have foreshadowed the move earlier this month, when she tweeted that she had to shave her head because of long-term damage to her locks.

The actress remains knee-deep in what many perceive to be an ongoing downward spiral, and this latest move will surely conjure up comparisons to Britney Spears, who famously shaved her entire head in Feb. 2007, during what many considered to be a public meltdown.
