Authorities Monday are investigating allegations that Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown, 23, assaulted fellow R&B superstar Frank Ocean, 25, in the parking lot of Westlake Studio in West Hollywood, California, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to a report Sunday night of six men fighting. The department says the altercation, reportedly over a parking space, "allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim."
While police did not identify the victim by name, after the incident, Ocean took to Twitter, writing: “got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest was there.” (Everest is Ocean’s dog.)
He then followed-up by adding, “cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys.”
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Of course, Brown is no stranger to run-ins with the law - he was injured last year in a brawl with hip-hop star Drake's entourage at a New York nightclub, but most notably, the Forever singer will forever be infamous for his brutal attack on girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards.
