It's going to be her first Christmas since splitting from her husband, Twilight actor Peter Facinelli. But Jennie Garth is not going to let the break-up of her marriage dampen her festive spirit.
In fact, the 40-year-old former Beverly Hills, 90210 star has vowed to make it "the best holiday" their three daughters have ever had.
Garth opened up to CNN.com about her holiday plans, revealing that the former couple has already agreed upon which parent will be with their children – Luca, 15, Lola, 10, and Fiona, six – on Christmas morning.
"I have the girls for Christmas Day, and we're gonna have a traditional Christmas," she says.
"Then we're traveling to see some friends in Virginia and then their dad's doing to be taking them for a few days to go skiing or something.
"It's all new, this splitting of the holidays. It's definitely new. Definitely new and foreign; but I'm jumping in with both feet and I'm going to make it the best holiday for my girls that I possibly can."
Garth also talked about troubled actress Amanda Bynes, her former What I Like About You co-star, who has had several run-ins with the law this year.
"I'll always have a special place for her in my heart," she says.
"You can't play sisters with somebody for four years and not love them and take them under your wing."
