Danielle Staub, the pot-stirrer who buoyed the early seasons of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, is returning to the Bravo cast after a few years away, in an effort by the show's organizers to drive the drama thorough the roof.
"Bravo has offered Danielle a contract," a source tells In Touch, adding the one-time sex tape star "is contemplating whether this will be full-time or part-time."
Another source told the magazine the 50-year-old beauty "will be filming several episodes" alongside the likes of Caroline Manzo, Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga to reinvigorate the show's chemistry after "the producers squeezed all the juice they could from the Giudices-versus-Gorgas storyline.
They "had to think of a fresh outlet for drama," the source said. "Having her back on will ruffle a lot of feathers!"
Meanwhile, as RadarOnline.com previously reported, Teresa’s hubby Joe Giudice is in a lot of legal hot water, and that may prove to be the catalyst for bigger things for the troubled couple.
"Bravo has declared that if her husband, Joe, gets jail time they want Teresa to have her own show," AllThingsRH reported, but said that she isn’t interested in doing her own show unless it involves her daughter Gia or cooking.
