Courtney Stodden Calls Much-Older Husband 'Dad'

Courtney Stodden, 18, has admitted she sometimes calls her 52-year-old husband "dad."
"I accidentally call him 'dad' - you know, Doug-dad, same thing," she revealed on VH1's Couple's Therapy, while a smiling Doug Hutchison sat at her side.
"The thing about us is, we can laugh at ourselves and that was part of what we were trying to convey on our show," Doug responded. "She can call me dad, I can say, 'I'm raising my wife.' It's all in good humor."
The creepy "good humor" may have been a bit lost on the producers of the show.
As RadarOnline.com reported, execs didn't allow the pair to share a bedroom during production because Courtney was only 17 at the time and there was concern about child labor laws.
Courtney also revealed that her daddy -- we mean hubby -- wants to start a family.

"We got into that issue, that was one of the main problems we were facing in our marriage," the teen bride said.
"He wanted a baby and I did not want a baby. I'm not against kids, but my career is my baby."
Couples Therapy airs Wednesdays on VH1.
