Isn’t Kanye West supposed to be helping Kim Kardashian with her style choices?

The 31-year-old reality star hit the streets of New York City with her rapper boyfriend on Thursday, experiencing a fashion disaster despite plopping down a massive amount of money on her designer duds, and RadarOnline.com has the photos.

Kim drenched her famous curves in Balmain’s $4,710 double-breasted wool-twill dress, which she paired with $865 Gianvito Rossi ankle wrap pumps, as she strolled around the city with West.

The rapper clearly wasn’t trying to go under the RadarOnline.com with his choice of apparel, standing out with his red, black and white leather motorcycle pants, designer kicks and bright white t-shirt.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was recently mocked on The View when she boldly proclaimed that she is a changed woman after splitting from Kris Humphries and that she has simplified her life.

“I care more about the simple things,” she said. “You really figure out what's important in life. I value time more. Staying at home, doing nothing, cooking in. It's not all about the glitz and glamour of a relationship."
