Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June Says Sugar Bear Is Recovering Well, Is 'A Big Baby!’

Honey Boo Boo’s daddy is in the hospital with a hurt leg and mama June Shannon exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that he’s getting better but that he’s being a “big baby” in the hospital.
“He is doing better. He’s recovering very well,” June said about Sugar Bear, who’s been hospitalized for almost a week.
“He is not getting his leg amputated, what it was he had a four wheeler wreck a couple weeks ago and his leg was badly bruised. Well the wound that was on top they said it would drain, and on Saturday they said it was healing but it wasn’t healing as well as they would like so they put him in the hospital to give him antibiotics on IV.”
The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars have been rallying around Sugar Bear as he remains under medical care, and Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson visits him every day after school.
“Today when they took the wound wrap off of him they were very satisfied that all the infection was gone and he was on the way to recovery.”
June said her baby daddy is glad he’s healing quickly, but that he isn’t handling the separation from his family that well.
“Sugar Bear is a big baby, when he gets hurt he’s a big baby and he likes us to stay and when we have to leave he doesn’t like it,” she said.
The season finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo airs Wednesday, September 26 at 10/9c on TLC.
